Introducing our first Maizen enamel pin, dedicated to promoting mental health and self care. We chose the gingko leaf and magnolia flower to be represented in this beautiful enamel pin because they represent resilience, longevity, and hope.
The pin design also contains a kintsugi-inspired vase. Kintsugi has a Japanese wabi sabi philosophy of celebrating and highlighting the pottery’s history of fractures rather than attempting to cover them. Kintsugi can also be a reflective, soothing art form for the artist as it is an intentional practice of recognizing the beauty in the imperfections. Kintsugi offers an empowering metaphor for life - knowing that we can never be truly broken, but rather our scars and imperfections make us the beautiful, resilient beings that we are.
This pin is a constant reminder of your own magnificent ability to overcome and grow through challenging times. Hang one on your backpack or bag, or send one to a friend, neighbor, or coworker as a thoughtful gift of encouragement.
Each gold plated hard enamel pin is ~1.25" inches x ~0.8" inches and comes with a black rubber backing and backer card.
Drawing from my cultural heritage, the pin also has "maizen" written in Japanese. Maizen comes from the words "my" and the word "kaizen," a Japanese philosophy of constant self development. When we focus on our own journey of self growth, we reach our inner zen, maizen.
**Note: Our pins are shipped through USPS First-Class Mail. If you would like to upgrade your shipping for an extra charge, please contact us before purchasing.
